CHRISTINA HONG
Hello there! I’m Christina, I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
My journey into psychology was sparked by my genuine love for connecting with people. To me, I believe that counselling at its core is the genuine collaborative connection of individuals coming together to navigate this wonderfully bizarrely life of ours.
In my role, my mission is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can authentically explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll work on developing a clearer sense of self and purpose, self-compassion, and fostering resilience in navigating life. I aim to be a compassionate witness and a reliable support system on your journey toward self-discovery. My approach is firmly grounded in cultural sensitivity, strength-based methodologies, and trauma-informed practices. Drawing from continuous education and training, I integrate a blend of therapeutic methods, including person-centred therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and personalized mindfulness techniques, all tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
I am honoured and enthusiastic about the opportunity to connect with you on your journey toward exploration, growth, and holistic well-being.
