Hi there! I’m Dana, a counselling intern at Innerlogue Therapy & Psychology, currently pursuing my Master’s in Counselling. I’m excited to work with children 3+, teenagers, and older adults who are looking for support in navigating life’s challenges. With experience as a therapist aide, I’ve had the privilege of helping children with disabilities, autism, and ADHD. I also bring my lived experience as a neurodivergent individual, which fuels my passion for helping others navigate their own challenges. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, or feelings of not belonging, I’m here to listen. As a first-generation Canadian, I understand how moving to a new place can be tough and how it can affect our sense of identity. I’m particularly passionate about supporting teens facing identity and family dynamics, as well as older adults dealing with chronic illnesses and finding purpose in retirement. I aim to create a welcoming space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore your strengths and develop strategies to help you manage your current challenges. We’ll work together to set achievable goals and reshape any unhelpful patterns of thinking, empowering you to show up as your best self in your relationships and in life. Let’s take this journey together toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life!
