MELANIE LEBLANC
I believe even small steps can move you towards positive change and foster a greater sense of hope and resiliency. My top specialties are supporting individuals through grief and chronic illness, and I bring a compassionate, holistic approach to these deeply personal and often complex experiences. I employ a wide range of therapeutic techniques that are helpful for processing trauma, managing low mood and anxiety, cultivating self-compassion, and developing effective coping strategies. Together, we will develop a plan that builds on your strengths and unique personality, with the goal of enhancing your overall well-being.
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked in various therapeutic settings, including crisis outreach for youth and families, wilderness-based residential treatment for youth, and health coaching for corporate clients facing high-risk health issues.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, and have formal training in Health Coaching, Motivational Interviewing, and Experiential Learning. In addition to grief and chronic illness, I am experienced in supporting clients with chronic pain, mindfulness, somatic therapy, menopause, and overall health and wellness. I’m here to support you—and I’m honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with you on achieving meaningful, lasting change.
