Yuchen Zhong
Hi! My name is Yuchen, and I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
I believe that therapy is a sacred space—a place for healing, growth, and self-discovery. This journey can be challenging, and at times, you may feel vulnerable. That’s why my goal is to create a warm and supportive environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I see therapy as a collaborative process, meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as we navigate challenges together.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing relational challenges, life transitions, immigration-related stress, trauma, emotional dysregulation, anger management, self-esteem concerns, depression, and anxiety. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and understood. Whether you’re looking to process past experiences, strengthen relationships, or gain clarity in life, I’m here to support you in a way that feels right for you.
